Message of the day:
Release 4.5.0 is out. Changelog: https://docs.silverstripe.org/en/4/changelogs/4.5.0
SilverStripe 4 related information and questions.
You may need to combine them into a single datalist
or the four cheapest, then put the featured at the top?
What mix of items do you need though? 4 featured, 4 non-featured, 2 of each?
you could look into a fancy case statement, like
case deals.name == featured 1 else 0 as featuresort orderby featuresort style thing - but then you'd need to get down and dirty
ill try it but I need 4 items and not sure if I can get it to limit em consistantly
Make sure you have an index on the column in question
It might be the quickest way.
id genuinely just have a
getFeatured() and a
getNonFeatured() and loop each individually
