On further "understanding" it seems that the \Plastyk\Dashboard\Admin\DashboardAdmin::class behaves like a ModelAdmin::class but is an extension of LeftAndMain::class and doesn't implement the Extensible::class trait... so how do I do this?

Eduard Ichim

It seems the extension is not recognized... any tips on how to do this properly?

Hi guys, I'm trying to send a .env variable to the Dashboard of https://github.com/plastyk/silverstripe-dashboard by extending https://github.com/plastyk/silverstripe-dashboard/blob/master/src/Admin/DashboardAdmin.php and creating a method inside the extension; BTW this is how I'm extending it class DashboardAdmin extends \Plastyk\Dashboard\Admin\DashboardAdmin not sure if this is how I should extend it

About the only thing I can think of would be to add some Javascript to the page which triggered when the form is submitted to strip empty values out of the request.

If I understand you correctly, you can't. That's what the browser sends
